David Hutchinson

President



David Hutchison joined PeopleWorks in 2016, and since then, he has filled more than 200 roles. As President for PeopleWorks, David understands that for a company to succeed, it must employ the right people. David has developed a recruiting process that is aligned with the company’s core values and is pro-active in its approach. His deep knowledge, resourcefulness and interpersonal skills sets him apart. He knows the landscape of the labor market and has great understanding of the soft and hard skills required for positions at every level. His experience includes: strategic planning, succession planning, organizational change, competitive compensation analysis and training. David’s goal is to make the recruiting process as easy and painless as possible. By showcasing culture and company values throughout the process, David believes it will help attract the right people, assure a cultural fit, and ultimately lead to success for the individual and the company.

Outside of PeopleWorks

David grew up in Chicagoland, graduated from Auburn University and met his wife, in Dallas, Texas. David had no trouble living in many different cities across the country. His wife being a Cleveland native, they moved back to Cleveland in 2008 and now have three children ages twelve, ten and eight. On most weekends you can find David in a hockey rink or out on the soccer fields cheering on his kids. He loves to watch them compete in sports and understand the value of both winning and losing.

Jay Hebert

Vice President



Jay Hebert joined PeopleWorks in 2005. With more than 20 years of recruiting experience, he understands the importance of matching top-tier talent with industry leaders. He has a proven track record of being able to identify, source and recruit high-level candidates and match them with hiring managers for a win-win scenario. Both candidates and hiring managers appreciate his straight-forward, consultative approach and his ability to ask the difficult questions to ensure a long-term fit for both parties. He builds strong pipelines through extensive research, cold calling and networking. During his time with PeopleWorks, he has specialized in helping build sales forces while working closely with various Regional Sales Managers, Sales Directors, Vice Presidents and Board Members.

Outside of PeopleWorks

Jay grew up in Connecticut and earned an undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and a graduate degree from the University of Tennessee. After his collegiate baseball career, he secured a front office position with the New York Yankees before eventually landing in the recruiting industry. Jay and his wife have 3 daughters and much of their spare time is spent watching their kids on some athletic field in a variety of sports.
